Delighted to have this wonderful book waiting for me when I got home.
The stories of 25 women who weave, spin, make buttons, embroider and sew, keeping alive their textile traditions with strength, generosity and dignity in a rapidly developing country.

The women of Morocco rock!

Sunset at Erfoud
A long but wonderful journey from Fes to Erfoud today, over the eastern part of the High Atlas range.
Stunning scenery, rock formations, gorges.
Donkeys, camels, monkeys.
Also snow on the ground.
Also desert.
In the date capital of Morocco tonight!

Natural dyed fine wools from @zuzanash
🧶🧶🧶
Not finished my current sweater knit but I caught sight of two generous skeins of #dundaga_yarn in my stash and couldn’t help myself and wound the first one.
I bought them from Iveta @balticknitsscotland - so difficult to choose between all her glorious colour combinations!
I can’t cast on a new project till I finish t’other one (my rules) but the shades are calling me🤗
