Tin project - Yellow Birds
YELLOW BIRDS
A little project in a tin!
This may be my favourite print. Lots of birds milling about on the ‘sand’ and all asking for different stitches. Be as creative as you like - each one given stitchy plumage is another wee joy.
Keep the tin in your bag or pocket so you always have a wee project with you.
Make little lavender bags, or a needlecase or padded bag for jewellery, or a pincushion or use the designs to decorate cards.
The kit contains:
Indian block printed bird cotton, and a white cotton backing fabric, both approx 20 x 20cm
Eight different shades of embroidery cottons
A needle and a stitch guide
... all packed in a little metal tin.
The tin measures approx 9.6cm x 6cm x 2.3cm The individual birds measure approx 5 x 5cm
