Packs of six natural fibre fabric squares for you to enjoy

All pieces are approximately 25cm x 25cm.

The fabrics are mostly cotton or linen and vary from heavy weight to light dressweight.

The African batiks are often cotton damask so they have a lovely texture and drape. Please be aware that the wax prints will feel stiff from wax residue. Iron between layers of scrap paper or fabric to remove excess wax and/or soak in hot water.

Many of the designs have a larger repeat so will appear differently between packs. They are mostly handpainted or handprinted so are gloriously free flowing and colourful - full of joie de vivre and asking to be used in bold ways.

Happiness is… a fresh supply of my ‘superfood’ granola!

You may scoff, but toasted oats and seeds and nuts and cacao and cinnamon and a pinch of salt, dried fruit, honey and some oil is my ‘food of the gods’

Recent read and current read
My intentions are good but I just don’t read as many books as I used to.
I hope that can change as there are stacks of ‘em in the queue.

This early collection of Claire Keegan’s was as good as you’d expect - carefully crafted, not a wasted word.
And now I’m savouring artist James Roberts’ use of language in his contemplation of dawn and dusk in all their magnitude.

Got my big girl boots on and I’m off to Copenhagen. Just seeking a quiet spot to hang out in until it is time to board the plane.
