Packs of twelve cottons for you to experiment with. Make a patchwork cushion or bag, or lots of tiny pockets to wrap little gifts in. Add them to your boro-style stitching, collage or other creative textile work.

There will be Indian block prints, from Gujarat and Rajasthan. Perhaps screenprint designs, woven ikat fabrics, African wax prints or batiks from Bali or Java. There may also be salvaged vintage prints.

All fabrics are cotton and vary from medium to very lightweight. They are approximately 10cm x 15cm. Designs may vary from those shown but there are no duplicates in the packs.

Little world*****Posted by Elaine D on October 4 2024 at 15:21Lovely fabric for all sorts of projects. Working on slow std peace using fabulous indigo silk. Highly recommend
blue block printed and ikat woven assorted fabrics *****Posted by Maura T on April 9 2024 at 22:37This is an ideal way to expand your fabrics for a boro or slow wtitch piece without having to buy a fat quarter of each fabric! The cloth is nice and soft and the needle will pass through them very nicely. They are a nice selection of blue hues and patterns.

Happiness is… a fresh supply of my ‘superfood’ granola!

You may scoff, but toasted oats and seeds and nuts and cacao and cinnamon and a pinch of salt, dried fruit, honey and some oil is my ‘food of the gods’

Recent read and current read
My intentions are good but I just don’t read as many books as I used to.
I hope that can change as there are stacks of ‘em in the queue.

This early collection of Claire Keegan’s was as good as you’d expect - carefully crafted, not a wasted word.
And now I’m savouring artist James Roberts’ use of language in his contemplation of dawn and dusk in all their magnitude.

Got my big girl boots on and I’m off to Copenhagen. Just seeking a quiet spot to hang out in until it is time to board the plane.
