Soft smooth plied wool/silk thread which works well on cotton and linen, and beautifully on wool. These shades are dip dyed shades or variegated shades and create interesting effects with the simplest of stitches.
The blend of Blue Faced Leicester wool and silk offers good coverage and a soft sheen to your stitches.

Content: 55% BFL 45% Silk
Thickness: plied thread - about equivalent to using three out of the six plies of a standard embroidery floss
