Libra is a luscious blend of Bluefaced Leicester and silk. A combination of the finest British wool and smooth light-reflecting silk, this yarn is a joy to work with and to wear.
Generous 150gm skeins increase the range of projects you can achieve with one lovely skein, but I dye most of them in pairs so you can grab two for a bigger project.
The yarns are first coloured with indigo then with acid dyes. There are delicious depths to the yarns, enhanced by the sheen of the silk content.
Fibre content: 55% superwash BFL, 45% silk
1 x 150gm skein, approximately 600m in length
Recommended needle size: 2.5mm to 4mm, dependent on project and pattern.
