Everything you need to embellish this indigo dip-dyed cotton drawstring bag with fabric and stitch is included in the pack.

As it is already made and dyed, you can launch straight into creating your own 'song to the moon' using the sky-dark fabrics and fine threads. Work on one or both sides, use the tissue paper designs or go your own way - no rules!

You can layer up the fabrics and stitch them together before attaching the completed piece to the bag, or work straight onto it. This project can be as simple or as complex as you like. Add extra fabrics and threads from your supplies or go minimalist with a statement moon and stars.

And then? Use it to store small projects like sock knitting, mending, patchwork-on-the-go, or to tuck travel essentials in, to carry a book and a bar of chocolate, first aid supplies, cosmetics, pencils and journal, or use it as gift wrap for a textile- or moon-loving friend.

You will find:

a cotton drawstring bag, carefully hand dyed with indigo by the Border Tart (27cm x 23cm approx)

printed cottons from Africa, Japan and India

hand dyed wool/silk threads

cotton embroidery threads

a needle and tissue paper template

There are no specific stitching instructions included
