Our price: £3.00
Quantity:

5 large sheets of fine white tissue paper.

Some of my kits include this fine lightweight tissue paper as a means of transferring designs onto fabric. Draw or trace your design on the paper, pin it to the fabric and with ordinary sewing thread stitch a simple running stitch along every line. Carefully tear the tissue paper away and you have your design ready to be followed. Remove the stitches after you have finished your embroidery, or stitch boldly over them if that is easier. See the images above for guidance.

Sheets are 45cm x 70cm Pack contains 5 sheets

The tissue is posted to you folded, in a hard backed envelope. The price includes UK postage if you are buying it on its own.

Doesn’t take much to amuse me..
Just us out for an evening walk🐾
🐾
I’m recovering from breakfast, for dog’s sake; why on earth would I want to go for a walk?

Samples finished for a wee private workshop on Saturday
 - and I get to see a handsome boy I have been patiently waiting to meet!
Expect photos…🐾
I succumbed to a few gems on the tour. It is so very hard not to😉
I was delighted to meet Trava & Wool @zuzanash and her soft dyed shades.
Her project bag is a joy - so many rescued and eco-dyed fabrics and lots of her lush hand embroidery.

Threads for stitching I also fell for (Stitchers’Treasures subscribers will enjoy these🤗)

And the rich dark soft wool is from Sabrina(@) heatherleablackcheviots.

I could of course have bought so much more but I hope to get some serious knitting done this winter to make a wee gap in my 🧶stash.
Accidental ‘matchiness’ on hotel bed as we launch into the final day of our lovely Wool & Whisky tour. Images of location to follow!
