Indigo Fat Quarter Slow Stitching

August 26, 2022, 10:00am – 12:30pm

Indian block print fabrics have a unique charm. Hand carved blocks, applied to hand dyed fabric with positioning done by eye. Choose from a bold birds-on-a-wire design or a stylised flower stem pattern and launch in!

A larger piece of fabric allows you to make a start on a bigger project, or to make multiple little ones. There is no expectation that you will complete your stitching in the workshop – quite the opposite, this can take as long as you like. I am there to guide you, show examples, demonstrate stitches, support, cheerlead, encourage a bit of wildness in your stitches!

No prior experience required. Suitable for anyone who can safely use a needle. All materials are supplied but you are welcome to bring your own needles, threads, scissors.

This workshop takes place at The Granary in Berwick-upon-Tweed. It forms part of the Youth Hostel building and has an excellent café on site. Full joining guidance will be emailed to you, and I am planning a blog post extolling the many attractions of this ancient border town.

Book any two Berwick workshops and save £5. This will be refunded at your first workshop.
