Packs of two fat quarters for your stitching pleasure!

These are Indian block prints, from Gujarat and Rajasthan, and khadi (handspun and handwoven) stripes and solids from Karnataka. The fabrics are cotton and vary from medium to lightweight. Fabric widths also vary - different weavers weave different sizes. All fabrics will be at least 50cm in one dimension but will vary in width.

BLUE GEO - two FQs, one a bold patchwork design in indigo on white and the other a light stitch effect pattern in indigo on white.

MULTI FLORAL - two FQs, both with black base colour but while one is a simple creamy white floral the other is a joyfully colourful fabric. Biggest flowers on the black/white version are 6cm x 4cm

BLUE GEO 2 - two FQs, one a lightweight allover star design in indigo on white. The other is a subtle turquoise and green print on cotton which has a machine sewn 'kantha' effect stitching. I cannot ascertain what the thread composition is but I think it is synthetic. It doesn't detract from the soft handle of the fabric.

INDIGO & RED - two FQs - a joyful white spot on dark red paired with a bold Ajrakh design in red, indigo and white. The spots are about 1cm in diameter.

DAZZLE - two FQs - a very bright lightweight floral print paired with a heavier weight khadi stripe in multi shades with a purple/pink dominance

EARTH - two FQs - in similar mid weight cotton these are two Gujarati fabrics printed in similar shades. A larger medallion design (approx 6cm in diameter) and a smaller floral repeat design.

ROSY - two FQs - a lightweight fabric with a delicate red floral tracery teamed with a mid-weight repeat design in dark red. This one has a machine sewn 'kantha' effect stitching. I cannot ascertain what the thread composition is but I think it is synthetic. It doesn't detract from the soft handle of the fabric.

These are fabric packs. They don't contain instructions.

A pack is delivered in a slim, letterbox-friendly box if purchased on its own.

Wonderful fabrics*****Posted by Steven R on June 23 2022 at 14:35Love these quirky prints. I picked up the blue elephants pack and they'll be lovely to use in some of my appliqué projects.
