Tissue Paper for pattern transfers

5 large sheets of fine white tissue paper.

Some of my kits include this fine lightweight tissue paper as a means of transferring designs onto fabric. Draw or trace your design on the paper, pin it to the fabric and with ordinary sewing thread stitch a simple running stitch along every line. Carefully tear the tissue paper away and you have your design ready to be followed. Remove the stitches after you have finished your embroidery, or stitch boldly over them if that is easier.
