Bee Thread Conditioner

Beeswax is the perfect natural conditioner for threads. It smoothes the fibres, helping the thread to run more easily through your fabric when hand stitching. It thus helps prevent tangles, reduce fraying and drag. 

These little wonders are 100% beeswax from a UK apiary.

Use your thumb or finger to hold the thread on the wax as you pull it across the surface. Do it maybe twice and then run your fingers down the thread to remove any residue.

Each approx 4cm in diameter and approx 15gm in weight. I wrap each in tissue and pop it in a folded indigo-patterned paper bag.
